Substance Abuse Treatment

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)
Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) are treatment programs used to address addictions and co-occurring disorders (i.e., depression, general anxiety, co-dependency, trauma). They are designed to assist individuals suffering from addiction or substance abuse problems who may have finished a rehabilitation or inpatient program, while they begin working and living at home. In IOP patients receive more frequent support to help them work toward healthier independence. They will continue learning to apply skills needed to manage triggers, possible relapses, and coping strategies for everyday life. The Synergy Wellness Intensive Outpatient Program takes place three days a week for three hours each day.
OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (OP)
Outpatient programs (OPs) are treatment programs used to support clients in the same way as IOPs, but at a more autonomous level of care. Clients have likely graduated from an IOP or Inpatient Program, and feel secure returning to everyday life. Outpatient programs are designed to support and guide clients towards their goal of continued sobriety, incorporating individual sessions and psychotherapy groups to solidify coping skills and tools.

CASE MANAGEMENT
When patients are focused on maintaining their sobriety, it can be a challenge to manage basic needs like food, shelter, and finances. Our substance abuse program offers a safe place to address the needs of each individual. After a full assessment, a designated Case Manager will be able to help enroll them in government assistance programs such as food stamps, low-income housing, homeless shelters, Medicaid, health care to pay for their continued IOP or OP, or even help organize their monthly expenses. Focusing on mental health is their first priority and we want to set them up for success by offering these services, and creating a well-rounded support system for their recovery.
